Are glochidia of M. falcata a food resource for juvenile salmon?

We are doing a bunch of salmon habitat restoration in Central Valley, CA and found a population of M. falcata.  Got me to thinking that salmon and M. falcata have coevolved and in addition to M. falcata requiring salmon host,  it is possible that glochidia were an important food resource for juvenile salmon because of the millions of glochidia available when juvenile salmon are in the system.  I found  any literature on whether this is the case or not.  Any input would be greatly appreciated!
    Thanks!
